The recognition ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, as well as department managers and section heads from the municipality, along with all the members of the Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Teams, including supervisory staff, technical personnel, workers, and drivers.
His Excellency praised the significant efforts made by the Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Teams in Al Hamriyah Municipality during the unstable weather that hit the country. He commended their presence in various conditions and their efficient and competent provision of municipal services in different facilities, areas, and neighborhoods of Al Hamriyah City, as well as in various locations where Al Hamriyah Municipality worked to deal with the incidents occurring in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Al Shamsi expressed his satisfaction with the teams of Al Hamriyah Municipality and their technical and operational plans for the Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Teams, which have demonstrated exceptional levels of handling emergency situations and the accompanying efforts in various sectors of crisis management. He highlighted the provision of trained and qualified human resources, which contributed to providing assistance to those affected by the weather conditions.
Al Shamsi praised the outstanding performance of the teams of Al Hamriyah Municipality, who dealt with emergency situations around the clock, enhancing the readiness and efficiency of the rainwater drainage network to strengthen the efficiency of assets, infrastructure, public facilities, and provide a safe environment for residents, inhabitants, commuters, and road users.
His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, also commended the efforts and response of all government entities, institutions, and bodies in the Government of Sharjah for unifying efforts and achieving common goals in accordance with joint work, strategic partnership, and their support in achieving a rapid recovery from the effects of unstable weather condition that hit the country in April .
