Sharjah24: The Sharjah Livestock Market has organized comprehensive preparations to welcome the blessed Eid Al-Adha by updating its services by offering various options such as pre-booking and home delivery. Dedicated routes and different teams have been assigned to guide visitors and buyers while ensuring all health and security measures are followed.
Eng. Abdullah Al-Shamsi, the Director of Sharjah City Markets, stated that the management of the Sharjah Livestock Market is ready to receive Eid Al-Adha with a comprehensive operational plan aimed at enhancing the visitors' experience and facilitating the purchase of sacrificial animals while maintaining efficiency and safety. The implemented measures include structural updates and extensive collaboration with local government entities such as the Sharjah Municipality, Sharjah Police , as well as the application "Baraq" from Assets Transportation Solutions, Sharjah Volunteering Centre , Saned , and the Department of Economic Development's Control Branch, to enhance the provided services.

Eng. Abdullah Al-Shamsi emphasized in his statements to "Sharjah 24" that this year, modern online pre-booking techniques have been introduced, allowing customers to pre-book sacrificial animals and receive them either directly from the market or through the new home delivery service. This is to avoid overcrowding and enhance the customers' experience. The service also enables customers to specify the type of animal and their preferred delivery time, providing a personalized and flexible experience.

Al-Shamsi also mentioned improvements made to the market's internal routes. Dedicated paths have been designated for customers who come for direct purchases and others for customers who have pre-booked animals. Signboards and integrated teams have been deployed to efficiently guide visitors. The number of butchers and cleaning staff has been doubled to ensure optimal workflow during the Eid period.

Furthermore, Eng. Abdullah Al-Shamsi stated that the market's management is also focusing on enhancing health and hygiene aspects. Health supervision teams are working around the clock, and the abattoir has been equipped with the latest devices to ensure the safety of the sacrificial animals according to the highest international standards. The market opens its doors from 6 am until midnight during the Eid days, allowing the public a greater opportunity to visit and make purchases at convenient times for them.
