Sharjah24: His Excellency Sheikh Engineer Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Municipal Affairs Department (SMAD), has announced that a coordination meeting took place today with the directors of municipalities in various cities and regions across the Emirate of Sharjah. The meeting, attended by the department's chairman, focused on improving communication and collaboration to further enhance municipal work in Sharjah.
During the discussion, various topics of mutual interest among the municipalities were addressed, as stated in a statement to “Sharjah24”. The municipalities have undertaken various developmental projects, which have been thoroughly studied. Efforts have been made to unify, coordinate, and apply procedures across all municipalities in the emirate.
In addition, an analysis was conducted on the difficulties encountered by the country and the Emirate of Sharjah during the recent weather depressions. The focus was on exploring possible solutions, which will be presented to the appropriate authorities.
Sheikh Engineer Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Qasimi emphasised the importance of sharing developmental projects with the municipalities for implementation. He highlighted the success of several municipalities in executing innovative projects.
