Sharjah 24: Khaled bin Falah Al Suwaidi, Director of Customer Service at the Sharjah Municipality, explained that the municipality celebrated, on Thursday, the raising of the blue flag on Al Hira Beach, as the second beach in the city of Sharjah.
Al Suwaidi stated that raising the blue flag on the emirate’s beaches is among the indicators that Sharjah is looking for as a family-friendly city, indicating that there is a set of standards that must be applied that take into account the elderly and people with special needs, and cleanliness of the beach.
He told “Sharjah 24” that when these requirements are completed, this flag will be unfurled in honor of the efforts made, noting that Al Hira Beach is the fourth beach in the emirate to apply these standards, hoping to raise the blue flag on all the emirate’s beaches to be a friendly city for the family and the people with special needs and for every visitor and resident in the UAE.
