In the presence of Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Districts and Villages Affairs, Sharjah Municipality inaugurated Al Qarayen Park 2 on an area of 70,085 square meters, which is hosting the Sharjah Festival for Culture and People in its sixth edition.
The inauguration was attended by Mubarak Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, Khalid Abdullah Al Raboi, Chairman of the Muwaileh Suburb Council, and several members of the Sharjah Municipal Council.
In this context, Salem Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of Sharjah Municipal Council, stressed that the expansion of garden construction in the city of Sharjah reflects the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah in providing qualitative service facilities for families.
For his part, Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, explained that the park is part of the agricultural projects implemented by the Sharjah Municipality during the past year, and a new addition to Sharjah’s parks, which number more than 70.
