In a statement to Sharjah24, Professor Majdalawieh highlighted the department's commitment to innovation and responsiveness to market needs. The Department now offers three undergraduate programmes, including Bachelor's degrees in Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Environmental Sciences and Sustainability.
The university is proud to announce the restructuring of the Chemistry and Environmental Sciences programmes. The Chemistry programme will now incorporate a Biochemistry component, aligning with market demands and the UAE's vision. Additionally, the Environmental Sciences programme will include a sustainability element, enhancing student employability in both local and global markets.
Professor Majdalawieh expressed confidence that these enhancements will provide students with greater opportunities for career advancement and success both regionally and internationally.
