Sharjah 24: Sharjah Charity announced that it has completed more than 95% of the construction of Al Rahma Mosque in the city of Kalba.
Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al Ali, Director of Projects Management and External Aid, stated that completing the components of A Rahma Mosque in Al Saf area in Kalba includes building the mosque’s service facilities, completing internal and external finishes, installing external stone, doors and windows, planning the external courtyards of the mosque and worshipers’ parking, in addition to electrical and sewage facilities in the mosque.
Al Ali pointed out that the mosque is one of the largest mosques as it can accommodate about 800 worshipers and comes with an area of 706 square metres, while the construction budget for the construction is about 950 thousand dirhams, indicating that the mosque comes within the projects that Sharjah Charity aims to expand in digfferent regions within the country, with the support and contributions of benefactors and their generous donations.
Al Ali stated that the work teams, in coordination with the concerned authorities, carry out extensive studies on residential areas lacking mosques. The study and reports of the work teams also include the Office of Engineering Affairs to identify the mosques in need of restoration and renewal, which helps worshipers to perform their praying and rituals.
Al Ali thanked everyone who contributed and shared this great goodness after God Almighty building a house in which the name of God is mentioned and the call to prayer is heard until the Day of Resurrection.
