Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) delegation concluded its visit to Bangladesh, overseeing project openings, food supply distributions, and medical campaigns, including Little Hearts and eye surgeries.
Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi, head of the Resources and Investment Sector, highlighted the "Sharjah Relief Programme" under the UAE Embassy's supervision in Dhaka. The visit included 200 eye surgeries at Al-Rih Al-Mursalah clinic and pediatric heart catheterisations led by Dr. Ahmed Al Kamali from Al Qassimi Hospital.
The delegation inaugurated Sharjah Village in Faridpur, costing 1.4 million dirhams, featuring homes for the poor, a mosque, school, medical clinic, vocational centre, and water tank. Over 1,000 food baskets were distributed, and a group wedding for 50 young men took place. They also inspected ongoing projects for quality assurance and visited sponsored orphans.
Al Rashidi thanked UAE Ambassador Abdullah Al Hamoudi, the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, and the Little Hearts Campaign medical team. The delegation included Mohammed Hamdan Al-Zari, Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi, media representatives, medical professionals, and philanthropists.
