In the youngest division, promising young athletes stood out with podium performances across the foundation's clubs, indicating a growing generation in taekwondo.
Sharjah Women's Sports Club won several gold medals, including Alhan Jassim, Noor Issa, Ghala Mohammed Saleh, Al Anoud Sultan, and Al Anoud Al Teneiji, as well as two silver and three bronze. Kalba Club won two golds, four silvers, and five bronze medals. Khor Fakkan Club won a gold, a silver, and several bronze medals, indicating a strong group performance.
Several medal-winning girls emerged from the sports incubator project developed by Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation in collaboration with Rubu' Qarn Foundation, mainly from Sharjah Children's Centres in Halwan and Al Qarayen. Notable names include Ghala Mohammed Saleh, Hessa Abdulqader, Sheikha Abdulqader, and others who demonstrated the project's efficacy.
Sharjah Club dominated the juniors' category, winning five gold medals, one silver, and two bronze. Kalba Club followed with three golds, one silver, and four bronze medals. Khor Fakkan earned a silver and three bronze medals, demonstrating balanced strength throughout the clubs.
In the women's section, Sharjah Club won two gold medals (Maha Rabie and Yasmeen Yasser), as well as several silver and bronze medals. Renaad Saad of the Kalba club added a silver medal, keeping the foundation's strong competitive presence alive.
Hanan Al Mahmoud, Vice Chairperson of the Foundation, described the results as the outcome of a structured, strategic vision targeting all age groups. She noted the remarkable emergence of talent from the incubator project, calling it proof of sustainable development in women’s sports.
Khawla Al Hawi, Director of "Sharjah Children", underlined the incubator initiative as a national strategic investment in child sports development. She praised the Sharjah Children and the foundation's collaborative success, emphasising that today's accomplishments are only the start of a long road.
Mai Al-Ameri, Deputy Director of Sharjah Women's Sports Club, emphasised the importance of the medals' diversity across categories and clubs. She applauded the clubs' balanced team-building and preparation techniques, which allow for strong, competitive representation at all levels.
The championship results validate the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation's effectiveness in developing well-rounded teams from grassroots to top levels. The remarkable success of incubator athletes demonstrates the importance of early talent development. The foundation continues to empower Emirati women in sports, particularly martial arts, with the goal of developing future champions capable of representing the UAE hohonourably.
