The karate kings won the General League shield in the following categories: Men, Women, Youth, Juniors, Cadets, and Girls. The shield for the Cadets category went to Ittihad Kalba Club. Eight clubs from the country participated in the championship.
The King's champions affirmed their absolute superiority in the game as the men's team claimed the General League title for the 12th consecutive time. The youth category also secured the league title for the third consecutive time, as did the women's category.
The championship witnessed strong competitive atmosphere among the players who displayed their best performances to reach the podium, but the King's champions had the final say after their complete dominance in all categories.
The championship was attended by Major General Nasser Al Razooqi, the Chairman of the UAE and Asian Karate Federations, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, the Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council, and Engineer Suleiman Abdulrahman Al Hajri, a board member and head of individual sports administration.
