The championship, which took place in Karachi, saw the participation of 30 players in the ILCA7 category representing 10 countries (Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore, China, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Indonesia), in addition to the Al Hamriyah duo Adel Khaled and Mohammed Al-Awais from the United Arab Emirates.
Khaled expressed his happiness at standing on the podium and raising the flag of the UAE at the Pakistan International Championship, extending his thanks to the Sharjah Sports Council and Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club's board of directors.
In turn, the coach of the Al Hamriyah Modern Sailing team, Najib Pasha, praised Adel Khaled for his third-place finish and Al-Awais for his fourth-place finish, highlighting the importance of their participation in raising the level of the team's game.
Salem Al Khayal, a member of the Al Hamriyah Club's board of directors and chairman of the Individual Games and Talented Athletes Committee, congratulated Khaled and Al-Awais on their outstanding performance at the Pakistan International Championship, commending the great work of all the components of Al Hamriyah's modern sailing team.
