Sharjah24: Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club honoured swimmer and UAE national team member Hamad Yousuf Al Shehi today at his school, "Ajman First Academy." The honourees also included Yousuf Al Shehi, the swimmer's father.
Members of the school administration, the general supervisor of individual sports, the swimming team coach, and club members all came together to honour Al Shehi and his father.

The school's principal, Mr. Jawid, lauded the Al Hamriyah Club's endeavour, describing its dedicated members as "distinguished individuals" and pointing out that Hamad Al Shehhi exemplifies the ideal combination of academic prowess and sportsmanship.

The General Supervisor of Individual Sports, Humid Obaid Ghadeer, extended the school's gratitude and appreciation for their involvement in the club's effort to Al Hamriyah Club's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Humid Al Shamsi.

The initiative's overarching goal is to strengthen ties between Al Hamriyah Club and local schools in order to foster an environment where students and teachers work together to thrive both inside and outside of the classroom, and to instil a feeling of school and club pride in both the players and their families.

This award is due to Hamad Al Shehi's great playing for his country in the first Gulf Youth Games in the United Arab Emirates in 2024, where he took home three medals: gold, silver, and bronze.
