Sharjah wins Al Bataeh 100-96 in Basketball League

Sharjah 24: In the first leg of the 2023–2024 men’s basketball league playoffs, which took place on Thursday night in Sharjah, the Sharjah men’s basketball team defeated the host Al Bataeh team, 100–96.

On Sunday, April 7th, in the second-leg match at Al Bataeh Club, the two teams will face off again to decide who takes home the bronze medal and who finishes third in the overall league.

Using a home-and-away format, Sharjah will face off against Al Bataeh in the first round of the 2023–2024 President's Cup Basketball Tournament.

In the quarterfinals, the winner will take on Al Dhafra. In the semi-finals, they will play Al Ahli Youth, the defending league champions from the previous season.
