Sharjah 24: The Sharjah men's basketball team suffered a defeat against Al Nasr, the host team, with a final score of 95-103 in a match held on Thursday evening at Al Nasr Club's arena in Dubai, as part of the fifth round of the preliminary stage of the men's basketball league for the 2023-2024 sports season.
As a result, Sharjah's points tally remained at six points after four matches, positioning them in fourth place. They have played one less game than Al Batayeh, who currently holds third place with seven points. Al Nasr is now in the second position in the league standings with eight points, trailing behind the league leader, Shabab Al Ahli, who has a perfect record of 10 points from five matches.
Sharjah's upcoming matches include hosting Al Wahda on the 8th of November in the sixth round, followed by an away game against Al Batayeh on the 12th of the same month. The first preliminary stage will conclude with a match hosted by Al Wasl on the 24th of November.
