AQU, Al Wasl University conduct joint workshop

Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) hosted a workshop on “Course Learning Outcomes and Student Evaluation Tools” to strengthen cooperation between AQU and Al Wasl University. The workshop was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, and Professor Dr. Khalifa Boujadi, Deputy Director of Al Wasl University for Academic Affairs, in the presence of deans and faculty members from both universities.
In his welcome speech, Professor Dr. Awad Al Khalaf emphasized the significance of the joint cooperation between the two universities to accomplish the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Founder of AQU. Al Khalaf explained that the workshop was a reflection of their commitment to enhancing quality and developing evaluation tools, particularly as it was held within the framework of the joint memorandum of cooperation between the two universities.

In his speech, Professor Dr. Khalifa Boujadi expressed the importance of the workshop in the context of developing academic exchange and enhancing scientific cooperation. He highlighted that the workshop reflected the dedication of the two universities to improving educational quality.

The workshop covered three main topics: “designing university exam questions” presented by Professor Dr. Hassan Al Malakh, Vice Chancellor of Al Qasimia University for Academic Affairs; “Aligning Course Learning Outcomes with Assessment Tools” presented by Dr. Omar Mahmoud Al Ammari, Director of Quality Assurance, Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation at Al Qasimia University; and "Innovative Evaluation", presented by Dr. Abdel Nasser Yousef Abdel Karim, Director of the Institutional Quality Centre at Al Wasl University.
