Sharjah24: A group of female students from Al Qasimia University paid a visit to the Old People's Home in Sharjah, which is affiliated with the Sharjah Social Services Department. During their visit, the students arranged a comprehensive programme for the elderly residents of the home, which included various competitions and entertainment segments.

The students also organised a group Iftar with the elderly residents and successfully completed the programme they had put together, demonstrating the university's commitment to promoting volunteer work and social responsibility.

The students expressed their delight at visiting the home and providing support and care to senior citizens. They emphasised the importance of social initiatives in promoting solidarity and social cohesion among various segments of society. 

The Old People's Home praised this noble visit and highlighted the significance of community support and the need for concerted efforts to care for and support the elderly. The nursing home expressed profound gratitude to the students and the university for their fantastic initiative.
