Sharjah24: During the period from May 13 to December 30, 2024, Rubu’ Qarn for creating future Leaders and Innovators will launch the second edition of the mathematics program “Kumon”, in collaboration and strategic partnership with Kumon Institute of Education, which has spread widely to more than 60 countries and regions. This stems from its commitment to developing the skills of future generations and empowering them to in mathematics to achieve excellence and distinction.
The program focuses on developing participants' abilities to master fundamental skills in mathematics, through its multiple levels. These will be presented in a nurturing learning environment that inspires participants to find creative solutions to challenging mathematical problems, enhancing their analytical and creative thinking skills, and gaining life skills such as self-learning and boosted self-confidence.
The program reflects Rubu’ Qarn commitment to providing unique learning experiences that align with the aspirations of its members and participants from various regions in Sharjah. It also aligns with their passion for mathematics, relying on an enriching system that gradually builds strong foundational skills, from basic arithmetic to advanced mathematical concepts, through an organized innovative approach of independent training, mastery, and precision resulting from repeated practice.
In its second edition, the program targets 80 participants including children and adolescents aged 6 to 14 years old. Those interested in joining the program are encouraged to visit Rubu’ Qarn social media platforms. Registration will be closed on May 1st and the program will be held at Sharjah Children's Centers in Qarayen, Al Raqah, Khorfakkan, and Al Batayeh.
The second edition of the Kumon Program follows the success of its first edition in developing participants' skills, as they were keen on continuing self-learning. They expressed their satisfaction with participating in a program that helped them achieve high results in their schools. Parents praised the program for its tangible role in positively changing their children's study habits after training them in independent learning without the need for continuous supervision, in addition to developing their skills and upgrading their mental arithmetic experiences.
