Sharjah24: To enhance communication with the public, the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators (Rubu' Qarn) has introduced a centralised channel on WhatsApp. This initiative seeks to simplify digital communication channels with its members across a wide range of age groups, from 6 to 31 years old, and the general audience, while also offering inclusive content.
The Foundation aims to accomplish different goals through this platform, such as improving user experience by providing convenient and fast access to information, and providing 24/7 communication to respond to inquiries from children, parents, and young adults associated with its affiliated institutions.. This effort is part of the Foundation's wider digital initiatives and smart services aimed at providing necessary support to its members.
The unified WhatsApp channel provides multiple advantages, enabling the audience to stay informed about the foundation's role in fostering influential generations who can shape the future. It also includes details about the Foundation’s important services, programmes, and activities available for future generations, along with Google Maps links for easy access to service centres in Sharjah. Furthermore, interested individuals can easily register for its institutions through the channel.
In addition, the channel offers information on the most recent news, programmes, activities, and events hosted by the Foundation throughout the year, offering the opportunity to watch videos, listen to audio clips, and engage directly with carefully curated content through smartphones.
The WhatsApp channel provides a great experience to make it easier for Sharjah's audience to access the Foundation's high-quality programmes. It acts as a valuable platform for promptly addressing the needs of its members and utilising their ideas and suggestions to consistently enhance services in accordance with their aspirations. This initiative showcases the Foundation's commitment to leveraging technology and innovation to realise its goal of becoming a key player in shaping the future generations.
Rubu’ Qarn Foundation is one of the most successful experiences in human development. Ever since it was established almost 40 years ago in 1985, as part of a cultural initiative by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the organisation has focused on developing human resources by setting up centres throughout the emirate. These centers aim to provide a safe environment for children and young people to pursue their hobbies and develop their skills.
Continuing on this path, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), founded the Chairperson of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators (Rubu' Qarn). It is the initial social and developmental project in collaboration with the community to nurture aware and impactful generations. This initiative enhances the knowledge, experiences, and skills of young people through a 25-year journey of life. Therefore, the establishment was called " Rubu’ Qarn".
Rubu' Qarn is the umbrella for four Sharjah-based entities: Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah for Capability Development.
