The initiative was attended by His Excellency Rashid Al Muhyan, Chairman of the Council, and Suhail Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Council’s Administrative Committee, in addition to the Council’s employees and collaborators, including parents and students.
Al Muhyan stressed that this initiative comes within the framework of promoting the values of goodness and giving in society, expressing the spirit of loyalty that the founder of the state, Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, instilled in the souls of the people of the UAE.
The initiative is part of a series of social activities organised by the Council, during the month of Ramadan, as it aims to promote social solidarity and enhance human ties between different members of society, by providing support and care to groups in need. The initiative seeks to demonstrate the social solidarity that characterise the Emirati society, and reflects the UAE’s commitment to the values of tolerance, coexistence, and giving.
The supporting groups interacted remarkably with this humanitarian initiative in attending the Iftar, as they expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude for the efforts made by the Parents Council in the Central Region to organise Iftar during the holy month of Ramadan. They also expressed their happiness and pride in the initiative, which showed them that they are an integral part of the society and that their concerns and needs receive attention and care, strengthening human ties and enhancing the sense of belonging and solidarity in society.
