Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) concluded the activities of the eleventh edition of the Sharjah Sports Summer "Our Holiday Is Different" programme, which was successfully organised with the participation of Sharjah’s sports and specialised clubs from June 30 to July 31. The programme saw a large turnout of boys and girls aged 7-12 and 13-17, with a total of 4,219 participants, who interacted with the wonderful array of programmes.

A wide range of activities

The programme featured a wide variety of recreational activities, sports activities, religious, awareness, and educational programmes, workshops, and four inter-club competitions hosted by various clubs. These included cultural and popular competitions, water sports, and an innovation and artificial intelligence competition. The programme witnessed intense competition among the clubs for top places, along with field trips to various landmarks and cities in the emirate.

Preparing the closing ceremony

The Council's Summer Programme Organising Committee is making the necessary arrangements to hold the programme's closing ceremony and honour the winning clubs. The top three specialised clubs and the top three sports clubs will be selected based on visits by the programme's evaluation committee. The ceremony will be announced later.
