Sharjah24: Al Muntada Al Islami in Sharjah held the second Ramadan Majlis, on Wednesday, as part of the Islamic cultural agenda. The event was titled "Jurisprudential Rulings That a Muslim Cannot Be Ignorant of During Illness", in partnership with the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services - Al Amal School.
The Majlis was attended by school students who participated in sign language, as well as several school administrators. Dr. Wael Mohammed Abdullah discussed the importance of the fasting ritual and the divine permissions for performing this worship.

Dr. Majid Bushlaibi praised the event, saying that it was great to see the students from Al Amal School actively participating and seeking Islamic and jurisprudential knowledge. The Majlis provided profound lessons in religion and piety, contributing to building an educated generation that values the noble Sharia's tolerant values. The children's interaction with the Ramadan council demonstrated their high religious awareness and keenness to understand and follow the provisions of religion accurately.

Dr. Abdullah discussed the virtues of the ritual of fasting and its importance in a Muslim's life. Fasting is considered one of the five pillars of Islam that establishes spirituality, enhances religious awareness, and piety. He reviewed the divine permissions granted by Islamic law in cases of necessity and need for the fasting person, especially in cases of illness and inability.

He emphasized that these divine permissions reflect God's mercy and wisdom towards his servants. Islamic law takes into account the health conditions and obstacles that Muslims may face and provides them with the necessary means to make it easier for them to fulfill their obligations. The Sharia is tolerant and flexible, providing great license and flexibility for those in exceptional cases.

Ramadan Majlises are an excellent opportunity to enhance religious awareness and education in Sharjah. They aim to strengthen the spirit of cooperative work and solidarity between society's institutions and individuals. The Majlis provides essential religious lessons related to fasting, divine permissions, and other important jurisprudence in Muslims' lives, as well as an opportunity to enhance spiritual awareness and education.
