Sharjah24: Dr Mohammed Khalfan Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the 5th Khorfakkan Mango Festival, announced the successful conclusion of the festival's fifth edition after three days of vibrant agricultural and marketing activities.

 He affirmed that the festival attracted a remarkable public turnout, supported local producers, and further strengthened Khorfakkan's position as a prominent agricultural destination.

The fifth edition of the Khorfakkan Mango Festival concluded on Sunday, drawing large crowds and recording a significant increase in visitor numbers compared to previous editions. The event featured the participation of numerous local producers and stakeholders from the agricultural sector.

Expanded facilities to accommodate rising visitor numbers

Chairman of the festival's Organising Committee, said the committee had anticipated the notable rise in attendance by preparing an additional exhibition hall to accommodate participants and producers, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive experience for visitors.

Festival development driven by public feedback

Speaking to Sharjah 24, Al Naqbi explained that the festival's continuous development was guided by visitors' suggestions and ideas gathered during previous editions. The improvements were aimed at enhancing the quality of the event and meeting visitors' expectations, while reaffirming the committee's commitment to further developing the festival in future editions.

Recognition of partners and support for local agriculture

Al Naqbi commended the efforts of all participants and praised the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its continued support in contributing to the festival's success. He noted that this support plays an important role in showcasing locally produced agricultural products and empowering farmers across the Eastern Region.
