Sharjah 24: In a festive atmosphere in Sharjah, the Shams Ramadan Festival was launched, highlighting more than 40 projects from productive families and small and medium enterprises, in addition to cultural diversity in 20 restaurants and cafes.
Sarah Al Amoudi, member of the organising committee of the Shams Ramadan Festival, reported the launch of the first edition of the Ramadan Shams Festival, organised by the Sharjah Media City (Shams).
The Ramadan Shams Festival in its first edition, which is held at the headquarters of the Shams Business Centre from March 28 to 31, combines culture and heritage and creativity, and provides a unique platform for exhibitors to display their diverse products of clothing, perfumes, jewelry, and more.
Sarah Al Amoudi confirmed in special statements to “Sharjah 24” that the Ramadan Shams Festival is characterised by the participation of more than 40 projects from productive families and small and medium enterprises, in addition to 20 restaurants and cafés offering various dining experiences and traditional dishes to suit tastes.
She pointed out that the festival is not only a platform for displaying products and services, but it is also an event that contributes to enhancing local culture and the economic development of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates as a whole, by bringing together productive families and small and medium enterprises in one place.
The festival provides a unique opportunity for visitors to learn about Emirati traditions and supporting the local economy, this event highlights creativity and innovation in the local community, enhancing Sharjah's position as a cultural and economic destination.
