Sharjah 24: Rashid Abdullah bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Secretary General of Al Dhaid Club, revealed that the 5th Al Dhaid Ramadan International Blitz Chess Championship witnessed exciting competitions for the various tournament prizes, in which 170 male and female players from various country clubs and groups of society competed.

Al Ketbi offered congratulations and blessings to the leadership and people of the UAE on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, praying to God Almighty to revisit this occasion with goodness and blessings on the Arab and Islamic nations.

The Secretary General of Al Dhaid Club pointed out that the tournament, which was organised by the club under the auspices of the Sharjah Sports Council, and under the supervision of the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club, received a great turnout from fans of this sport, which enhances strategic and analytical thinking in participants.
