Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Summer Blitz Chess Championship was successfully concluded as part of the summer activity programme of Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled, in cooperation with the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club and under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council.
The event aims to discover and determine the levels of new and unclassified talents in the sport of chess and develop the spirit of competition among the participating players.
The event witinessed the victory of the player Sajid Ahmed from Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled, in second place was the player Nasser Adel Al Mazmi from the Sharjah Chess Club, and the third place was the player Zayed Jaber Al Ali.
The closing competitions and honouring of the winners were witnessed by Kaltham Obaid Al Matrooshi, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled.
