Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) welcomed a delegation from the Municipality of Al Madinah Al Munawarah in Saudi Arabia to facilitate the exchange of experiences and gain insights into the advanced security systems employed by the authority.

Engineer Fatima Ali Asghar, the Director of the Information Technology and Communication Department at the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority, expressed a warm welcome to the delegation. She emphasised the authority's dedication to the mutual exchange of experiences and knowledge, especially in security system technologies and the control and command centre.
Throughout the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the security systems utilised by SEWA. Discussions centered around challenges and potential solutions for the advancement of these systems in various facilities. A field visit was organised for the delegation to the authority's control and command centre, established in 2021, where a thorough explanation was provided about the modern technological systems in use. This included insights into their integration with other systems and innovative approaches to their activation, all aimed at serving the public interest and ensuring the security and safety of the authority and the emirate.
The Saudi delegation from the Municipality of Al Madinah Al Munawarah expressed gratitude for the gracious reception and the valuable information shared during the visit. They acknowledged the significant contribution to enriching their understanding of the utilised system and extended an invitation to the authority to visit Al Madinah Al Munawarah.
The meeting was attended by Musa bin Abdullah Al-Maimani, the Deputy Secretary for Technology and Digital Transformation, Mohammed bin Salman Al-Juhani, the Deputy Secretary for Operations and Maintenance, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Amari, the Executive Office Director, and Abdullah bin Rabah Al-Mahmoudi, the Director of the Municipal Operations Monitoring Centre from the Municipality of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah. Representing SEWA were Engineer Fatima Ali Asghar, Director of Information Technology and Communication Department, Khaled Mohammed Al Ali, the Security Systems Officer, Ibrahim Issa, Head of the Infrastructure Department, and the technical team, along with representatives from the system provider company.
