Sharjah 24: The Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre "Tahkeem" took part in the third international conference of the Saudi Centre for Commercial Arbitration, which runs until Thursday, March 7th, with the topic "Dispute Resolution in a Changing World: Trends and New Opportunities." The conference drew a diverse group of legal specialists from across the world.
The Sharjah delegation was led by Mohammed Ahmed Al Shehhi, Executive Committee Member; Dr Ahmed Saleh Al-Ajlah, Director of the Sharjah Centre for International Commercial Arbitration "Taahkim"; and Maryam Bin Haddah, Business Development Manager.
Mohammed Ahmed Al Shehhi, an Executive Committee Member, noted that the Saudi Centre for Commercial Arbitration's third international conference provides a chance for arbitration professionals to connect and remain up to date on the newest advancements and changes in commercial arbitration.
The Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre was keen to attend the conference in order to network with diverse worldwide organisations, form strategic relationships, and strengthen the UAE's regional and international position.
Dr Ahmed Saleh Al-Ajlah, Director of the Sharjah Centre for International Commercial Arbitration "Taahkim," emphasised that attending such specialised events improves communication with expert arbitrators, allows for discussions of the latest developments in arbitration, exchanging views on common important issues, and strengthens bilateral relations with various entities to enhance expertise and business growth.
