‘Sharjah Islamic Affairs’ opens ‘Al Hosna’ Mosque in Al Bataeh

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department opened the “Al Hosna” Mosque in Ibn Rashid area in Al Bataeh in the Central Region of the emirate. The mosque can accommodate 400 male and female worshipers.
The opening of the mosque, which comes within the department's plan for the current year, and its preparation for welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, will meet the needs of the residents of the region, and provide them with the appropriate atmosphere to facilitate the performance of rituals and worship, and hold holy Quran teaching and memorisation sessions.
The mosque, which sits on a total land area of 3,600 square metres, includes the prayer hall and its service facilities, including ablution area, restrooms, housing for the imam, and car parking lots. The prayer hall can accommodate 400 worshipers, including a space for 50 female worshipper. The mosque was built according to the local architectural style, topped with a 22-metre-high minaret and a circular dome.
