Sharjah24: The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department opened the “Al Safwan” Mosque in Industrial Area 17, built at the expense of the Sharjah Charity House, and the “Al Khasheen” Mosque in Al-Ruqayba 8 in the Al Suyoh suburb, built at the expense of a philanthropist.
The two mosques can accommodate 1,450 worshipers.
The opening was attended by Abdullah Khalifa Yaroof Al Sabousi, Head of the Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department, and several officials from the department.
Al Safwan Mosque, built on an area of 2,559 square meters, can accommodate approximately 1,000 worshipers, while Al Khasheen Mosque, built on an area of 2,830 square meters, can accommodate approximately 450 worshipers.
