Sharjah24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) proudly participated in the UAE Innovation Month exhibition, solidifying its position as a key hub for infrastructure development and urban advancement. This event is a great chance to highlight the accomplishments and projects spearheaded by SDPW for a sustainable and innovative future.

At its headquarters, the Department started its events with a workshop led by Engineer Saud Al Marzouqi from the Building Maintenance Department on smart building management systems. He presented the most recent technologies and projects reflecting the Department's innovative vision in infrastructure and sustainable development. Smart technology is being utilised in project management, along with the implementation of renewable energy in construction, underscoring SDPW’s dedication to ongoing advancement and progress. 

The Department welcomed entrepreneur Mr. Ahmed Al Salman for an engaging session with SDPW’s employees on entrepreneurship in the UAE, talent management, and nurturing and enhancing talents. 

The third lecture organised by the Department was called "Chat GPT and its Role in Research and Analysis," delivered by Engineer Soha Al Marzouqi from the Building Projects Department. 

In the city of Dibba Al Hisn, the Branches Department organised an event titled "How to Be Innovative," where department employees engaged in interactive dialogue with Engineer Khadija Al Naqbi about instilling innovative concepts, using smart mental games, and brainstorming. This participation is geared towards fostering an innovative culture, enhancing knowledge, and gaining experience in the field of future foresight.

Workshop participants emphasised that their involvement in the UAE Innovation Month showcases the Department's dedication to ongoing growth and advancement, as well as its efforts to realise the UAE Vision 2071 for a sustainable and prosperous future.

Sharjah Department's participation in UAE Innovation Month reflects its commitment to supporting initiatives and events that promote the emirate's position as a hub for development and innovation on a global scale.

The UAE Innovates is recognised as the biggest national event that celebrates innovation and innovators throughout the country. It shines a spotlight on ambitious Emirati innovators, supporting them by showcasing their innovations and helping to grow their businesses. It was launched in 2016 to highlight impactful innovations.
