64 young parliamentarians & Sharjah Youth tackle challenges

Sharjah24: 64 members of the Arab Parliament for the Child from 16 Arab countries enthusiastically took on a series of challenges orchestrated by the Sharjah Youth, a part of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation (RQ). These challenges manifested in various creative games organised in collaboration with the Arab Parliament for the Child during the Parliamentarians' Forum.
Members of the Sharjah Youth Council actively participated in diverse games, totaling thirteen, distributed across various activities held at the Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Life Skills in Sharjah. The aim of these activities is to prepare conscious and influential generations that contribute positively to their communities, services, and development. The collaboration between Arab children and the Sharjah Youth Council in the Parliamentarians' Forum strives to achieve several desired goals.

The challenges provided an opportunity for the children to develop their talents through engaging in skillful and physical games, fostering significant creativity and interaction. The challenges encompassed sports, physical fitness, intelligence, agility, and teamwork, such as the Points Challenge, Box Challenge, Box Race Challenge, Penalty Kick Challenge, Tic Tac Toe Challenge, Kite Challenge, Golf Challenge, Memory Maze Challenge, Ball Collection Challenge, Wooden Balancing Challenge, Pipe Train Challenge, Mat Race Challenge, and Ball Shooting Challenge.

The challenges were attended by Ayman Othman Al Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child, and Engineer Samar Al-Saba’i, the Chairperson of the Syrian Family and Population Affairs Authority, along with representatives from participating Arab delegations, as well as the presence of members of  Sharjah Youth and various invited guests.

The challenges were distinguished by diversity and seriousness, capturing the attention and enthusiasm of participants through multiple and varied tests, allowing them to showcase their skills in a wide range of areas, including motor skills, intelligence, and creative thinking.

At the end of the challenges, the joy of the children was not limited to the moment of competition but extended to the recognition ceremony that followed the competitions. Members of the parliament and the council expressed their happiness and pride in this participation and the quality of the challenges. Al Barout honoured the winners of the challenges, presenting them with challenge trophies.
