Sharjah24:Rafid Automative Solutions, in collaboration with the Sharjah Police, has launched a Remote Vehicle Inspection service to enhance the quality of services provided to customers in the Emirate of Sharjah. The aim of this service is to automate part of the vehicle inspection procedures in Sharjah and facilitate vehicle export procedures, supporting the vehicle and spare parts sector in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The launch was attended by Abdullah Majid Bushalibi, the Director of Motorcheck Technical Inspection Centers at Rafid Automative Solutions, Colonel Khaled Al-Kay, Director of Vehicle and Driver Licensing, Colonel Majid Al-Nuaimi, Deputy Director of Vehicle and Driver Licensing, and Colonel Mohammed Ahmed Al-Muhrazi, Head of the Vehicle Inspection Department at the Sharjah Police, along with a number of officers from the Sharjah Police and officials from Rafid.
The remote vehicle inspection service offers three main services: vehicle export inspection for vehicles registered in the Emirate of Sharjah, inspection for the export and renewal of trailers and mobile homes, and inspection for issuing repair permits and changing vehicle color.
Bushalibi affirmed that the launch of this service in collaboration with the Sharjah Police is a continuation of the joint cooperation between the two parties and their ongoing efforts to provide quality services that serve the residents of the Emirate of Sharjah and save time and effort for customers, emphasising that this service is the first of its kind in the UAE and facilitates the process of renewing and exporting vehicles for trailer and mobile home owners without the need to visit a service center for inspection.
Bushalibi added, "At Rafid, we are working on transforming most of the vehicle and driver licensing procedures into digital services. This step comes as a complementary measure to reduce the costs of transporting vehicles and trailers and expedite the vehicle inspection process. The response time for service requests has been reduced to 4 minutes instead of 45 minutes, which is a significant achievement in order to provide distinctive and high-quality services to the residents of the Emirate of Sharjah."
Bushalibi confirmed that they will collaborate with the Sharjah Police in the near future to further transform more remote services, such as vehicle export and vehicle renewal services in the Emirate of Sharjah, under specific conditions and regulations to ensure the safety of vehicles on the roads.
It is worth mentioning that Motor Check is one of the companies under Rafid Automative Solutions, founded by a professional team in the field of vehicle services. It provides vehicle inspection services and provides buyers with comprehensive reports on the condition of the vehicle. Each report includes detailed inspections of the vehicle's structure, paint, chrome-coated accessories, signs of damage from accidents, rust, putty defects, and other services without dismantling the vehicle.
