Al Zari indicated in remarks to Sharjah24 that this service was introduced in accordance with the distinctive government service strategy, with an emphasis on three criteria: customer service, customer journey and experience, and current technological standards. These criteria are connected to the Ministry of Interior's strategic aim of enabling safe road transportation with advanced road technologies.
Captain Ahmed Saif Al Zari emphasised that this service was launched to save customers effort, time, and hassle by eliminating the need to bring the vehicle, trailer, or mobile home to inspection centres and instead allowing them to upload and attach photos via the Rafid application, reducing the inspection process from 45 minutes to 4 minutes.
Al Zari stated that this is the initial stage of the service, which will be examined in the coming three months for future growth and improvement. He stated that the service is restricted to licences for painting, tinting, colour changes, exporting automobiles outside the nation, and renewing and exporting trailers and mobile homes.
Al Zari emphasised that the remote car inspection service is proactive and the first of its type in the UAE, complementing the Emirate of Sharjah's excellent offerings.
