Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, said: “The extension of the 'Sharjah Summer Promotions 2026' campaign until mid-September reflects our strategic commitment to further strengthening Sharjah's position as a leading year-round family destination by delivering an integrated summer experience that seamlessly combines tourism, retail, hospitality, and entertainment. Through our continued collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, alongside our public and private sector partners, we are creating greater value for residents and visitors by expanding the range of experiences available, stimulating tourism and commercial activity, and reinforcing the emirate's competitiveness as a diverse and sustainable tourism destination.”
Al Midfa added: “This year's campaign continues to deliver a comprehensive programme of promotions, experiences, and family-focused activities designed to appeal to visitors of all ages. It brings together exceptional hospitality and accommodation offers, curated packages by tour and travel operators, diverse retail promotions, and major prize draws, creating an integrated visitor journey across the emirate. These initiatives encourage longer stays, increase visitor spending, and showcase Sharjah's unique blend of tourism, culture, leisure, and entertainment, further strengthening the emirate's competitiveness as a preferred destination for regional and international visitors alike.”
During the “Sharjah Summer Promotions 2026” season, shoppers have the opportunity to win more than 700 valuable prizes through the activities and events being held, in addition to five major digital prize draws organised in four phases until the end of the campaign.
The draws include 51 distinguished prizes, led by the grand prize of a car provided by Al Ghandi Auto, the campaign’s official sponsor. Other prizes include 30 gold bars weighing 10 grams each, as well as 20 shopping vouchers and valuable gifts offered by participating shopping centres.
The campaign enables the public to enter the draws either by shopping at participating malls and stores or by booking and staying at participating hotels through the exclusive packages and offers available on the Sharjah Summer Promotions website. The campaign will conclude with a grand final draw at 06 Mall on Tuesday, 15 September 2026.
Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, affirmed that the extension of the 'Sharjah Summer Promotions 2026' campaign until mid-September reflects the strength of the strategic partnership between the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority in delivering an integrated summer programme that supports the sustainable growth of Sharjah's trade and retail sectors. He noted that the initiative contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of shopping centres, stimulating consumer confidence, and creating greater economic value for businesses across the emirate.
Al-Awadi added: “Working closely with our strategic partners, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry continues to develop a retail experience that extends beyond the traditional concept of seasonal discounts by combining attractive commercial offers with entertainment programmes, family-focused activities, and innovative digital prize draws. This integrated approach enhances the attractiveness of shopping destinations, drives footfall, supports retail and commercial performance, and reinforces Sharjah's position as a leading shopping and family destination. The campaign's mascot, 'Shamsa', further strengthens its community identity by creating memorable and interactive experiences that deepen engagement with families and children while enriching the overall visitor journey throughout the emirate.”
Building on its world-class tourism infrastructure, diverse visitor experiences, and internationally recognised family-friendly offering, Sharjah continues to strengthen its position as one of the UAE's and the region's leading year-round tourism destinations. The emirate's integrated tourism ecosystem, spanning exceptional hospitality, premium accommodation, cultural and heritage attractions, nature-based experiences, retail destinations, and family entertainment, reflects a long-term vision focused on sustainable tourism growth, economic diversification, and delivering enriching experiences for residents and visitors alike.
The extension of the 'Sharjah Summer Promotions 2026' campaign until 15 September 2026 further reinforces this vision by providing additional opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy exclusive hotel offers, tourism packages, retail promotions, entertainment programmes, and major digital prize draws. Bringing together a wide network of hotels, shopping centres, retail outlets, restaurants, cafés, tour operators, and tourism and entertainment destinations across the emirate, the campaign exemplifies the strength of public-private sector collaboration in enhancing visitor experiences, stimulating tourism and commercial activity, and generating sustainable value for Sharjah's tourism and retail sectors.
