Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Team underscored the significance of collaborative efforts between security and civil authorities in the country. The positive results of this cooperation were evident in effectively handling the situation during the aftermath of adverse weather conditions in the Eastern Region's cities, contributing to the safeguarding of lives.

This coordination was executed through a systematic plan aimed at swift and secure actions to prevent adverse consequences of the weather conditions.
The team conducted a series of shelter operations in the Eastern areas since the onset of adverse weather, accommodating approximately 173 families, totaling over 1010 individuals whose homes were impacted by heavy rainfall. This involved the participation of 528 security personnel, 621 field staff from municipalities and other entities, provision of 55 police patrols and security vehicles, and 321 heavy vehicles for municipalities and participating entities, including tankers, water pumps, and various heavy-duty transport vehicles.
The Sharjah Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Team facilitated the return of affected families to their homes after ensuring their safety by reopening closed roads and restoring normal traffic flow.
