Sharjah Police Salutes Sheikha Haya's Sports Empowerment Efforts

Sharjah24: Sharjah Police Commander-in-Chief, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, honoured Sheikha Haya bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Supervision and Follow-up Committee for the Arab Women's Clubs Games in Sharjah. This recognition is a gesture of gratitude for her diligent efforts and dedication to advancing the position of Arab women within the sports framework.
The recognition occurred while Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi attended the matches of the "Seventh Edition" of the Arab Women's Clubs Games held at the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation. The event commenced on February 2nd and was held under the patronage of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and chairperson of the Supreme Council of Family Affairs, and President of the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation. The theme for the games was " Fields Speak Tales of Champions”.

Al-Shamsi remarked, "Choosing to organise this year's edition in Sharjah reflects the commitment of the Ruler's wife to empowering women and her keen interest in women's sports at local, international, and Arab levels, contributing to the overall sports development in the United Arab Emirates and particularly in the Emirate."

Sharjah Police Commander-in-Chief commended the dedication of the Chairperson and members of the Supervision and Follow-up Committee for the Arab Women's Clubs Games, recognising their pivotal role in the success of the event and the realisation of its goals. He expressed optimism for the continuous progress and prosperity of women's sports in Arab countries.
