Sharjah24: The Al Khalidiya District council, under Sharjah’s Districts and Villages Affairs Department, has carried out supportive initiatives for eligible and underprivileged families within the community through the ongoing distribution of water heaters.

As part of the "Life is Giving" initiative, introduced last year and now in its second consecutive year, the Al Khalidiya Council has distributed 100 water heaters to 47 deserving families in the district. The initiative is being conducted in partnership with the Al Huraiz Group.

Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of the Khalidiya District Council, underscored the significance of the "Life is Giving" initiative, which aligns with the strategic objectives of the council to strengthen a humanitarian approach by meeting the needs of local families. Al Marri highlighted the council's dedication to such initiatives, emphasising their role in helping families fulfill their requirements and promoting the values of generosity and compassion.
