Sharjah24: As part of its efforts to improve ongoing contact with the suburb's residents and stay abreast with their needs and concerns, Al Khalidiya Suburb Council of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in the Government of Sharjah held discussions on a variety of societal topics.
The meeting held at the Council’s headquarters in Sharjah and chaired by His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of the Khalidiya Suburb Council, and in the presence of a number of members, including Khamis Ali Al Himiri, Ali Hamad bin Sifan, and Muhammad Hamad Al Sari.
The meeting was also attended by council employees, including: Imran Al-Hammadi, Hamid Al-Hammadi, Abdulaziz Al-Abdouli, Hamdan Al-Marri, and Khaled Al-Mazmi.
The meeting addressed many significant issues concerning the people of the suburb, and the council’s upcoming initiatives were discussed, in addition to directives from the council chairman to work on them immediately.
During the meeting, a number of incoming cases and developments were presented and discussed, which are being followed up directly with the competent authorities.
At the end of the meeting, a date was set for the “Yelestna” initiative, with the aim of strengthening communication between the people of the suburb and exchanging opinions and proposals related to the region and its residents.
