Sharjah 24: During the previous year, Sharjah Charity International (SCI) covered the tuition costs of 1894 students for a total of AED 13.2 million through the philanthropic initiative "Student Support".
The association provides tuition and academic expenses to financially disadvantaged students, allowing them to continue their education.
In addition, the organisation spent AED 6.9 million last year on educational initiatives outside of the country to help students overseas.
Mohammed Salim Al Manai, Director of the Aid Department at Sharjah Charity International, expressed heartfelt thanks to the kind contributors for their significant donations to the educational initiative.
Al Manai added that educational help was aimed at children from financially challenged and needy households, relieving financial constraints on their parents and enabling the continuation of their education without interruption, giving joy to their hearts.
