The participants consist of tribes from the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The race is going to have 14 rounds over a distance of 1,500 meters, on the Al Dhaid Camel Racetrack.
Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club stressed that the competitions contributed greatly to encouraging the new generations to participate in camel racing, which is part of the heritage of the United Arab Emirates.
