Sharjah24: Sharjah Capability Development (SCD) announces the opening of registration for its Adventure Series program, targeting individuals aged 18 and above. The program is set to begin on December 23, 2023, with sessions every Saturday for six consecutive weeks, with an aim to offer participants a unique opportunity to confront the hardships of nature while acquiring essential survival skills.
In the program, participants will engage in a variety of workshops and activities, including archery and water rafts building. In addition, they will have the opportunity to apply their newfound skills under the guidance of reputable experts in the field.
Expressing the core objective of the Adventure Series program, Khalid AlNakhi, the Director of Sharjah Capability Development, emphasized the program's overarching goal of empowering the youth and enhancing their self-confidence. AlNakhi further noted that the program goes beyond skill acquisition as it allows its participants to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and discover the mountainous terrain of the United Arab Emirates.
