The main objective of the memorandum is to strengthen collaboration in media and technology, adhering to the relevant regulations of both parties.
Per the agreement, cooperative efforts will include sharing expertise in technology, knowledge exchange, metaverse technologies, and joint ventures for the development of metaverse content. This encompasses research and development initiatives for Sharjah Media City on Naver Z's ZEPETO platform.
The collaboration also aims to boost investment and business prospects within Sharjah Media City, supporting creative endeavours and startups through initiatives such as creating training programmes for companies and investors in the metaverse field. Furthermore, it seeks to foster cultural exchange through collaborative media production, film festivals, and cultural events.
Sheikh Sultan, the Chairman of Sharjah Media Council, received a presentation detailing Naver Z's achievements in technological and digital fields, with a focus on successful practices related to artificial intelligence and the metaverse, particularly on the ZEPETO platform.
Sheikh Sultan also toured Naver Z's contemporary studios, gaining insight into the latest technologies employed for content production through artificial intelligence.
