Sharjah Police advances future foresight for community security

Sharjah24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, affirmed the commitment of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, to promote positive values as the cornerstone of the family.
This commitment serves as a genuine safeguard for generations conscious of their national and humanitarian roles. Guided by their visionary perspectives, Sharjah has elevated the family to the status of a societal initiative, underscored by a commitment to principles that guarantee unity, righteousness, and integrity for every member. 

This affirmation was made during his welcoming speech at the second Social Support Forum, held under the patronage of the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, with the theme "Envisioning the Future of Community Security." The forum took place at the Police Sciences Academy.

The forum was attended by several prominent figures, including His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi is the chairman of Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Districts and Villages Affairs Department, Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, the Director of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, and His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, along with heads of departments and representatives of participating entities, totaling over 350 participants.

Major General Al Shamsi emphasised that the annual forums organised by Sharjah Police for families have established a flexible working methodology contributing to enhancing foresight and consolidating a security approach for a sustainable community. 

In conclusion, Major General Saif Al Shamsi congratulated the members of the Federal National Council, noting that their involvement in the national decision-making process is a significant trust placed upon them by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah. 

Colonel Dr. Ruqaia Al Mazmi, the Director of the Social Support Center, stated, "In this edition, we focused on envisioning the future in the field of community security with our partners from civil society institutions," emphasising collaborative efforts and complementary roles to enhance the quality of life.

Colonel Tariq Al Madfaa, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department, presented a working paper titled "The Future of Family Stability from a Security Perspective," outlining Sharjah Police's strategy and efforts in envisioning the future of families. 

The forum included a panel discussion hosting prominent leadership figures in the community. The forum also featured an exhibition showcasing the participation of various local entities in the Emirate through interactive platforms to present the latest governmental innovations.

In the concluding session of the forum, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi honoured the participants in the panel discussion for their contributions to the forum's success and the achievement of its objectives.
