In a speech, Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem claimed that collective marriages are a wonderful tradition that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, started in 1990 to be the first of its kind in the Middle East.
The society has consistently organised the collective weddings in accordance with His Highness' directives, and the initiative has contributed to the formation of hundreds of families and the stabilisation of the community.
Dr Abdulaziz Al Hammadi emphasised the importance of marriage in fostering societal cohesiveness and family relationships. He complimented the collective wedding project.
