Sharjah24: His Excellency Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Dhabhi, Judge of the Dubai Courts of Cassation, gave an introductory presentation on "The Sharia Purposes of endowment and Its Civilizational and Humanitarian Effects" to the Sharjah Charity International's staff.
The lecture was organized at the headquarters of the Women Union , in the presence of Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director, and with the participation of the SCI's employees. The lecture included an introduction to the endowment, a review of the opinions of the imams of legislation on the legality of the endowment, and an explanation of the mechanism for organizing it. The attendees also learned about the sections of the endowment, including the charitable endowment, and a statement of its preference over all other charity and donations.
During the lecture, the audience also learned about the objectives and importance of the endowment, and its value as a moving human civilizational project that goes beyond the concept of ongoing charity to make it part of its tributaries. Dr. Al-Dhabahi focused on the importance of the charitable endowment as one of the forms of humanitarian work.
For his part, Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director, said that SCI is aware of the importance of these lectures in increasing the awareness of its employees, especially those working in resource and investment management, and it is the best way to advance charitable work in SCI .
