Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Strategy and Performance Development Department, organised the fifth Partners Forum under the theme "Sharjah for Partnership and Integration." The Forum witnessed the participation of 88 strategic partners from various local departments and federal authorities in the Emirate.
The Forum was organised with the aim of reviewing the best practices in strategic partnerships within the legal framework. It also reflects Sharjah Police's commitment to honoruring its partners, highlighting their outstanding efforts, and enhancing their effective role in achieving the desired objectives of the Sharjah Police.
The Forum was attended by several dignitaries including His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, the Chairman of the Statistics and Community Development Department, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, Dr. Mansoor bin Nassar, the Head of the Legal Department for the Government of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, the Director of the Statistics and Community Development Department in Sharjah, Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Sharjah's Central Finance Department, Sheikh Faisal Ali Al Mualla, the Director of the Support Services Office at the Ministry of Justice, Deputy Chief Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer of Sharjah Police, and a wide range of local department heads, federal institutions, and representatives of private sector entities. Several General Directors, along with various department directors and section heads of Sharjah Police, were also in attendance.
Al Shamsi emphasized during his speech the desire of Sharjah Police to maintain communication with various departments and authorities within the Emirate in order to learn about the finest practices that support Sharjah's development. In order to raise government work to the greatest standards, he expressed his hope that this event will improve cooperation between the SPGC and its partners.
The Forum commenced its activities with the UAE national anthem, followed by a video showcasing the achievements of Sharjah Police in collaboration with its strategic partners, contributing to enhancing the wise leadership's aspirations and goals.
The event included a panel discussion about the concepts of strategic partnerships and their legal frameworks. The session was moderated by Hana’a Al Dhahouri from the Sharjah Broadcast Authority and featured His Excellency Dr. Mansoor Mohammed bin Nassar, the Head of the Legal Department for the Government of Sharjah and a member of the Executive Council, and Colonel Tariq Al Midfa’a, the Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Sharjah Police.
During the event, His Excellency Dr. Mansoor Mohammed bin Nassar discussed a number of topics related to strategic concepts within the legal framework.
For his part, Colonel Tariq Al Midfa’a spoke about the concept of strategic partnership in government institutions, pointing to the role and importance of partnerships in unifying efforts and achieving integration between various institutions and sectors in the emirate. He also pointed to the most important pioneering practices followed in strategy management and performance development at Sharjah Police.
The Forum concluded its work by honouring the heads and directors of local departments, federal authorities and institutions in the emirate, in recognition of their distinguished efforts and fruitful cooperation in supporting and developing work tools through innovative projects and initiatives that contribute to enhancing the quality of provided services, preserving the Emirate’s status among the best global cities in the services sector.
