The purpose of this collaboration is to strengthen joint efforts aimed at improving services in Dibba Al Hisn and the central region, as well as to facilitate procedures in accordance with His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who directed that the electricity and water connection fees for residents of Dibba Al Hisn and the central region should be covered under the "Sharjah Housing" programme.
Saeed Sultan Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SEWA, signed the agreement in the presence of Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Shamsi, Director-General of SEWA, and Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of Etihad Water and Electricity.
Al Suwaidi underlined SEWA's willingness to make all necessary efforts to accelerate procedures and project implementation while offering the finest services in various parts of the Emirate of Sharjah.
He stressed the necessity of partnerships and cooperation with diverse organisations in order to achieve the shared objective of delivering the finest services to clients by using sophisticated technology and digital transformation.
He stated that the successful establishment of electronic connectivity between the two entities will improve their ability to provide efficient, effective, flexible, and high-quality services to citizens and residents in Dibba Al Hisn and the central region, allowing for the timely and efficient implementation of projects.
Etihad Water and Electricity thanked SEWA for its collaboration and electronic connectivity, with the goal of developing cooperative work, supporting modernization and development initiatives, and facilitating procedures.
