Sharjah24: As part of its ongoing efforts to promote volunteer work and strengthen its institutional culture, the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) is launching the Institutional Volunteer Workshop, which will be held in the city of Kalba on Monday and Tuesday, September 25th and 26th.

Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work stated that the training provides a full explanation of the significance of volunteer work as well as the necessity of effective volunteer management, shedding light on its role in fostering social and economic development.

She emphasised the effective impact of the workshop, addressing a set of different practical skills, on institutions and individuals, as well as enhancing institutional integration among entities and promoting sustainable community development.

Al Balushi stated that this workshop, which is held on a regular basis at the levels of the Eastern Region, the Central Region, and the city of Sharjah, reflects the Award's commitment to uniting efforts and motivating individuals and institutions to volunteer in ways that meet the needs of society and strengthen its cohesion.
