Sharjah24: Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) seeks to inspire and celebrate achievements in volunteerism, through encouraging efforts in the field of volunteering by appreciating active entities across various sectors and categories nationwide. This is done under the Best Voluntary Initiative category, which has the subcategories of Government Institutions, Private Sector, and Volunteer Teams.

The Dubai Police General Command took first place in the category of governmental organisations for its "Safety Ambassadors" program. The "Educate Me Center for Management Consulting and Training" earned first place for their effort "Together we will make summer more beautiful" in the category for the provate sector. In the category of voluntary teams, the Dubai Voluntary Diving Team won first place for its initiative.

For their "Creating Eid Joy Festival " which strives to cheer up orphaned kids, the "Thank You for Your Giving" team came in second. The Honorary President of the "Thank You for Your Giving" team, Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Rukaid Al Amri, lauded the team's humanitarian, communal, charitable, and constructive activities. These initiatives support the volunteer work system at all levels, in line with the country’s voluntary approach in accordance with the wise leadership's guidance.
