Sharjah24: In September, Sharjah TV will air a wide variety of programmes aimed at different demographics, such as those who rejoice the "Back to School" season, highlight the achievements of University of Sharjah students, provide support for international students, and showcase the artistic prowess of Arab women.
The "Back to School" programme is one such alternative; it explores the preparation of children and their families for the next school year, as well as the preparations of public and private schools in Sharjah for the new academic year.
"Ambassadors of Sharjah" introduces viewers to the efforts and accomplishments of University of Sharjah graduates, presenting success stories of these graduates while highlighting the role of Sharjah and its ruler, His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, in providing a positive learning environment that significantly affects the graduates' career paths.
The programme "Our Children Abroad" focuses on the UAE's major efforts to provide high-level higher education to its sons and daughters, supporting their enrollment in prominent foreign institutions across a wide range of disciplines of study.
The weekly discussion show "Ambassadors of Meaning" also features Arab women who have achieved success in a number of disciplines through their own unique originality.
The new September programming, as revealed by Ayda Batti, Director of Programmes for Sharjah Channel, corresponds with the return to school after the summer break, highlighting Sharjah TV's dedication to providing high-quality material that promotes civic engagement.
